Outpatient Services
Our Staff offers services to individuals in a seven county area in
southeast South Dakota. Our staff consists of Psychiatrists,
Psychologists, PA's, CNP's, Nurses, Social Workers, Counselors, Case
Managers, and a host of support staff that make our services possible.
Outpatient services are offered at our main office in Yankton SD as well
as at our satellite clinics in Vermillion and Lake Andes SD.
We strive to offer professional and confidential mental health
services, education and consultation to our communities in an effective,
efficient manner. |
Children's Services - SED
Children's Services provides child centered therapeutic services in
the home or office. This program provides mental health services to
children with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). Children's Services
Provides individualized services in accordance with the unique needs and
potentials of each child. The parents, families, and surrogate families
of children with SED participate in all aspects of evaluation, planning
and delivery of services. We work Closely with many child-serving
agencies and programs. |

CARE
~
Continuous Assistance Rehabilitation & Education ~
Individuals with severe and persistent mental illness may need
outside support and assistance in the community in order to achieve
recovery in their lives. CARE services are provided by a team of case
managers who reach out to individuals mainly in their homes or a
community setting. Recovery plans and treatment are individualized.
Individuals wanting CARE services are able to live any where within the
7 county service area. |
CARE Club
Care club is available as a supportive, social and educational
environment for individuals involved in the CARE program. Care club
operates Monday through Friday from 9:30 – 12:45 and is located at 1028
Walnut. A daily meal is served free of charge. Participants are
requested to sign up for a job duty of their choice when they arrive.
Social and recreational activities are offered daily. Educational groups
are offered regularly, healthy snacks and involvement in exercise
programs are encouraged. Often off center outings are planned. |

Alcohol & Drug Services
Created as a community based program to help persons suffering from
alcohol related problems, this program has grown through the years and
now provides additional services to other populations, such as: drug
dependent clients and families affected by any addictive process.
Additionally, we’ve developed prevention services to try to reduce the
impact and suffering associated with chemical dependence. |

| Individualized and Mobile Program of Assertive Community Treatment
Impact is a program designed for individuals with
severe mental illness who are in need of intensive services in the
community.
Individuals involved with Impact must reside within 5 miles of the
Yankton area. |
